Wersted- Evelyne R. (Kelfer), of Sharon, on April 24, 2014. Beloved wife of Saul Wersted for 71 ½ years. Devoted mother of Susan Bennett (Stephen) and Mollyann Blumenthal (Peter). Loving grandmother of Shaun and Amy, Jeremy and Judy, Joshua, Rafi and Elysa, and Lani. Great-grandmother of Alex, Kylie, Daniel, Rebecca, Matthew, Jacob and Max. Evelyne was a Life Member of Hadassah, Life Member and Past President of Sisterhood, Temple Israel, Sharon, and the first woman President of that congregation.
Services at Temple Israel, 125 Pond Street, Sharon on Sunday, April 27 at 12:30 pm. Following interment at Sharon Memorial Park, Shiva will be observed at the home of Mollyann and Peter Blumenthal on Sunday until 9 pm, Monday through Thursday 1-5, 7-9 pm, Friday until Noon. Minyan at 7:45 pm Sunday through Thursday.
