GERALD “DONNIE” WALK

WALK-Gerald “Donnie” of South Natick, formerly of Brookline and Newton, on August 21, 2009. Much beloved husband of Anita (Marcus) Walk. Devoted father of Shelley Grace Walk and Marjorie Walk Solomon, and her husband Frank. Dear, devoted grandfather of Jacob Marcus Solomon. Loving brother of the late Richard Walk and Lenore Deutschmann. Proud and decorated member of the Army Signal Corps in WWII, serving in Normandy, Northern France, Rhineland, and Central Europe. Services at Temple Shalom, 175 Temple St., West Newton, on Monday August 24 at 11:00 am. Following interment at Sharon Memorial Park, memorial observances will be held at the home of Marjorie and Frank Solomon until 8:00pm on Monday, and on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the charity of your choice.
