Gertrude Greece

GREECE, Gertrude (Simons) Of Framingham, and formerly of Westboro and Worcester, on Saturday, June 15. Beloved wife of the late David E. Greece. She leaves 2 children who were devoted to her, Marilyn Talbot wife of the late Jonathan Talbot and Harvey Greece and his wife Marcia. She was blessed with 5 grandchildren who loved and respected her, Eric and Jacey Greece, Robbie Greece, Andrew and Melissa Talbot and 2 beautiful great granddaughters Cosette and Marabel Greece, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters Dorothy (Simons) Kane Goldberg and Mildred Noller. Gert or Trudy, as she was called, was born and raised in Boston before moving to Worcester when she married. She worked for over 20 years for the Worcester Post Office before retiring. She was a life member of the Jewish Healthcare Ctr., Hadassah and NARF (The Retired National Association of Federal Employees). She was a very gifted Canasta, Mah Jong and Poker player who loved to go to Foxwoods when she had a chance. A Graveside Funeral Service will be held at  Sharon Memorial Park ( Opposite 41 Dedham St.) Sharon  on Wednesday June 19  at  10:45 a.m.  under the direction of Richard Perlman of Brezniak- Rodman Chapels of NEWTON.
