Of Newton, on October 16, 2016. Beloved husband of the late Edith (Machenberg) Rubin. Dear companion of Sandra Sklar. Devoted father of Susan Cipriano (Mark), Amy Rubin Brickman,  Robert Rubin (Justine), Michael (Lesley) Sklar, and Stuart Sklar (Mark McIntire). Loving grandfather of Matthew (Jennifer), Jonathan, Elyssa, Catie, Emily, Jeremy, Nathan, Edith, Zachary, Scott and Brittany. Cherished great-grandfather of Elizabeth, Allison and Kenneth III. Brother of the late Elinor Kaplan. Graveside service at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham St., Sharon (gather behind administration building) on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at 12:45 pm. Memorial observance at the home of Amy Rubin Brickman following the service on Wednesday until 7 pm, Thursday 1-4 and 6-9 pm, and Friday 1-4 pm.
