ARBETTER, Howard Erving Of West Newton, October 17, 2011. Beloved husband of Ferne (Alpert). Devoted father of Ellen Spear and her husband Brad, Anne Arbetter Fischell, Joan Arbetter Rosenberg, Arthur B. Arbetter and Edie Arbetter. Loving grandfather of Greta, Abbie and Ben Spear, Jonathan, Evan and Emma Fischell, Jake, Jesse, Zach and Molly Rosenberg, and Freddie. Loving brother of the late Etta Marcus, Joe Arbetter, Esta Talberth, Min Goldberg, Herbert, Morris, Lester and Willie Arbetter. Services at Temple Beth Elohim, 10 Bethel Rd., Wellesley on Wednesday, October 19 at 1:00 pm. Following interment in Melrose. Guests are welcome  at his residence 52  Oldham Rd. West Newton on Thursday and Friday from 1-5 and 7-9pm. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in memory of Howard Erving Arbetter to the Mass General Hospital Multidisciplinary Cancer Fund.
