Irandokht Behjat

Irandokht Behjat (Zomorrodi), 81, passed away peacefully in her home on December 18, 2017.

Born in Iran, the daughter of the late Hassan Ali Zomorrodi and Zahra (Majidi) Zomorrodi, she is survived by her husband, Mahmoud Behjat; her children, Roya, Haleh, Abdi, and Elham; her grandchildren, Parastou, Aria, Dara, Adam, Andrew and Kian; and her great-grandchild, Amir. Mother-in-law to Selim and Fariba, and grand-mother-in-law to Farouk and Andriana. She was the sister of the late Shahpour, Mehdi, Houshang, and Nosrat.

Services at the Wilson Chapel, 234 Herrick Rd., Newton Centre, Friday, December 22, 2017 at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow at the Newton Cemetery. Following the burial, family and friends are invited to a Luncheon at the Newton Marriott at 3 p.m.
