Irving Allan Krasner

Of Cambridge, formerly of Newton and Somerville, on October 13, 2016. Beloved brother of Nancy Krasner Gilman and the late Miriam Reba Krasner. Son of the late George and Esther (Lelansky) Krasner. Irving was a 1957 graduate of Newton High School and a student of the Berkley School of Music. He was a consummate musician, vocalist, and entertainer. Graveside service at B’Nai Brith Cemetery, Rt. 128/95 N, 1/2 mile past Exit 25 B, Peabody, Sunday, October 16, 2016 at 11 am. Memorial observance at the home of Nancy Gilman on Sunday from 2-7 pm. In lieu of flowers, remembrances can be made to Tunefoolery, 85 East Newton St., Boston, MA 02118, which is an organization for musicians in mental health recovery.
