Resnick-Jack H., age 90, of Framingham, and formerly of Pearl River, NY, where he resided with his beloved wife for over 60 years. Beloved husband of Anne (Stein) Resnick. Devoted father of Barry N. Resnick and his wife Cara (Anticoli) of Martha’s Vineyard, and Robert O. Resnick and his wife Jean (Peters) of Wellesley. Dear grandfather of Jesse Aaron Resnick and Spencer Dean Resnick.Loving brother of the late Jerry,Abe,Bill and Belle Resnick . Jack was born in Brooklyn, NY, and at an early age moved to Livingston Manor, NY where his family ran a farm and a summer boarding home. After graduating high school, he enlisted in the military and served in WWII, flying cargo planes. He flew missions to Africa, China, and India. After the war he met and married his wife, Anne. Proceeding graduation at Columbia University, he went to work for IBM, until his retirement. His hobbies included building furniture, marquetry, stain glass art work, and fixing every mechanical device known to man. He enjoyed the poetry of Ogden Nash, and his favorite poem, Gunga Din, by Kipling. Graveside services at Beit Olam East Cemetery, 42 Concord Rd., Wayland, MA on Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at 11:00 am. Following services, memorial observance will be at the Shillman House, 49 Edmands, Rd., Framingham, from 3-4:30 pm, and will continue at the home of Robert and Jean Resnick from 5:30-7:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 30 East 33rd St., New York, NY 10016.
