Halpern-Jack, age 98, of Brookline on May 23, 2011. Beloved husband of the late Fran Halpern, the former Brookline Town Clerk. Devoted father of Bonnie Halpern of NYC. Loving brother of Betty Winer of Newton. Dear uncle of Stacey Winer of Newton. Services at Temple Sinai, 50 Sewall Ave., Brookline on Thursday, May 26 at 1:00 pm. Following  interment  at Sharon Memorial Park, Sharon, family and friends are invited to the home of Paula and Bradley Stone in Belmont until 8 pm on Thursday. Remembrances may be made to the American Parkinson’s Disease Foundation, 715 Albany Street, Suite 329, Boston, MA  02118 or to a charity of your choice.
