CHAPIN, John “Jesse” Revere, III Of Canton, on May 7, 2011. Beloved husband of Amy (Podell). Dear son of Margaret (Crowley) Chapin of Cohasset and the late Henry DeFord Chapin. Devoted father of Jason Henry Chapin and David Andrew Chapin. Adored nephew of Flora “Kate” Crowley. Loving brother of Hannah Chapin Foley and her husband James Foley. Cherished uncle of Cameron John Foley, Grace Chapin Foley, and Holden Joseph Foley. Graveside services at Sharon Memorial Park, Sharon, on Tuesday, May 10 at 10:45 a.m. Follow the Graveside Service Arrows toward the administration building. Memorial observance will be at his late residence on Tuesday & Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to The United Way. He graduated from Cohasset High School and from the University of New Hampshire where he was a member of Theta Chi. Jesse enjoyed Sandy Beach, Little Harbor, and loud music and was a computer genius. He was a life long Red Sox and Bruins Fan. Jesse will be remembered as a devoted father and husband, loving “Uncle Buck” and cherished son and brother and friend to all. Jesse had a heart of gold and will be greatly missed.
