Karen R. (Dorfman)Dentz Of Ashland, on Sunday, Dec. 9th. Beloved wife of the late David J. Dentz. Devoted mother of Rachel, wife of Mark Zides of Southborough and Sarah Dentz of Chicago. Beloved sister of John Dorfman of Slingerlands, NY and Richard Dorfman of Ocean City, NJ. Beloved companion of Jay Leib of Longmeadow, MA. Cherished grandmother of Zachary, Halle and Keira Zides. She received a lot of pride as a social worker in the various settings that she worked. Her grandchildren were a great source of joy. Visiting hours will be held 5 p.m.-7 p.m. on Tues., Dec. 11th in the Brezniak Rodman Funeral Home, 1251 Washington St., NEWTON. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Weds., Dec. 12th in Congregation B’Nai Shalom, 117 East Main St., Westborough. Memorial observance will be held from 2pm-6pm at the residence of Mark and Rachel Zides at 17 Skylar Dr., Southborough. Memorial contributions may be made to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, 450 Brookline Ave., Boston, MA 02215 in support of ovarian cancer research.
