Leon Halperin

Of Newton, formerly of Brookline, on November 19, 2015. Beloved husband of Phyllis (Gersh). Devoted father of Marc Halperin (Marla), Richard Halperin (Laurie), Lori Schneider, and the late David Scott Halperin. Dear grandfather of David, Amanda (Josh), Robert, and Michael. Loving brother of the late Mitchell Halperin. Leon was a Past Master of several Masonic lodges, including United Lodge, Adelphi-Noddles Island Lodge, Massachusetts Lodge, and was a 50 year member of the Shriners.

Services at the Wilson Chapel, 234 Herrick Rd., Newton Centre, on Sunday, November 22, 2015 at 11:00 am. Following interment at Baker Street, West Roxbury, memorial observance will be held in The Common Room at 210 Nahanton St., Newton. Shiva will continue on Monday and Tuesday  2-4 & 6:30-8:30 pm at the  Halperin residence, 210 Nahanton St., Apt. 519, Newton.
