Zimmerman-Louis M. “Zimmie” of Chestnut Hill, formerly of Newton, age 105, passed away peacefully on February 2, 2013. Beloved husband of the late Helen (Levin) Zimmerman. Devoted father of Joseph Zimmerman and his wife Roberta of Needham, and Mark Zimmerman and his spouse Herb Cohen of New York. Dear grandfather of David Zimmerman and his wife Ellen of New York. Proud great grandfather of Eric and Sarah Zimmerman. Graveside services will be private. Memorial observance will be at the home of Joseph and Roberta Zimmerman, on Monday, February 4^th from 1-8 pm only. In lieu of flowers, donations in “Zimmie’s” memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
