Maurice Burke

Burke-Maurice, of Roslindale, formerly of Canton, and Delray Beach FL. Entered into rest on February 24, 2012. Beloved husband of the late Dorothy (Priluck) Burke. Born in Vilna Poland to the parents of Yakov Shlomo Bojko and Leah Tcivia (Novick). Devoted father of Linda Burke and Steven Burke and his wife Catherine. Dear grandfather of Nathan, Jessica, and her husband Scott Steinberg, Allison and Lee Leshefsky. Proud Great grandfather of Danielle. Loving brother of the late Sarah and Dinah Bojko who sadly lost their lives in the Holocaust with his parents. Maurice served in the U.S. Army in WWII. Graveside services at Agudas Achim Cemetery on 1000 Pearl St., Brockton on Monday, February 27, 2012 at 1:00 pm. Following interment, a memorial observance will be at the home of Linda Burke until 7:00 pm, and Tuesday 5:30-7:30 pm. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to the Hebrew Rehabilitation Center, 1200 Centre St., Boston, MA 02131, or the Chabad of your choice.
