Mina Hechtman

Hechtman-Mina (Schenk), 78, of Chestnut Hill and North Truro, on October 30, 2013. Beloved and adored wife of Herbert Hechtman for 57 years. Devoted mother of Julie Sall and her husband Eric, of Newton, Daniel Hechtman and his companion Marilyn Feuer of New York City, and Abigail Hechtman of Newton. Cherished and proud grandmother of Rachel, Josh and Laura Hechtman and Madeline and Charlotte Sall. Valued sister of Ray Schenk. Mina was a warm caring person and friend to all. Services at Temple Shalom, 175 Temple St., West Newton, on Thursday, October 31 at 1:00 pm. Following interment at Sharon Memorial Park, the family will be at 3 Glenoe Road, Chestnut Hill until 8:00 pm, Minyan at 6:30 pm. Shiva will continue Friday, 12-4 pm. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Hadassah, at www.hadassah.org.
