Age 101 formerly of Brookline on June 16, 2008. Beloved wife of the late Nathan Smith. Devoted mother of Phoebe Langenthal of Brookline and the late Dr. Sumner A. Smith and his surviving wife Eleanore of Chestnut Hill. Loving sister of the late Herbert, Myer, Al Cohen, Fanny Wasserman and Michael Harris. Dear grandmother of Terry and Linda Langenthal, Shari Langenthal Meehan and Joseph Meehan, Karen and Bruce Green, Drs David and Joanna Smith, Heidi and Martin Hyde and 6 great grandchildren. Services at Temple Ohabei Shalom, 1187 Beacon St, Brookline on Wednesday, June 18 at 11am. Memorial observance will be at the home of Phoebe Langenthal on Wednesday only.
