Devoted father of Carol Salter and her late husband William of Auburndale, Susan Mitchell (David) of Salisbury, and Deborah Laari of Brookline. Dear grandfather of Dr. Benjamin Salter (Terrill), Dr. Jason Salter (Karen Kemp), Michelle Anderson (Robert), and Stephanie Mitchell. Great-grandfather of Jacob, Benjamin, Matthew Anderson, Maya, Zoe, Noah Salter, and William and Max Salter. Services at Temple Beth Elohim, 10 Bethel Road, Wellesley, on Monday, June 8, 2015 at 10:30 am. Following interment at Sharon Memorial Park, Sharon, memorial observance will be at the home of Carol Salter on Monday and will continue Tuesday and Wednesday. Remembrances may be made to Temple Beth Elohim. Richard was a Past Master of Garden City Lodge, AF & AM and a founding member of Temple Beth Elohim.
