Robert R. Kessler

Robert Richard Kessler, age 80, of Palm Beach Gardens, FL, formerly of Newton, MA, lost his courageous battle with cancer on February 7, 2015. He was born in Brookline, and attended Lawrence Academy and Harvard (class of 1956), where, as a southpaw, he pitched a no-hitter. He received his MBA from Columbia University. Devoted husband of  Bette Ann (Slotnick) for 55 years. Beloved father of Gary Kessler and his wife Erika, Andrew Kessler and his wife Betsy and Susan Sankel and her husband Howard. Bob was adored by his grandchildren, Emma and Caleb Kessler, Emily and Jackson Kessler, and Ben Sankel. Loving brother of Gloria LaPerle and the late June Marks. He was a devoted uncle. Memorial observance will be at the home of Andrew and Betsy Kessler on Thursday, February 12, 2015 from 4-8:30 pm.
