Roberta “Bobbie” Cole

Cole, Roberta “Bobbie”, of Newton, MA passed away May 27, 2021. Beloved wife of the late Bernard “Bernie” Cole. Devoted mother of Russell (Karen), Justin (Denise), Jayce, Warren (Margie), Stuart (Yael), Kermit (Louisa). Predeceased by her children Clifford and Carol.  Loving grandmother of Cindy (Josh), Gregory (Andrea), Nina (Ted), Evan (Evelyn), Alana, Benjamin, Geoffrey (Julia), Samantha, Jacqueline. Proud great-grandmother of Felix, Amilia, Nero, Kaylee, and Halle.

Bobbie lived a vibrant, complex, wonderful life. She cared deeply for Bernie and devoted herself to raising and caring for their children, international students, neighbors and strangers from around the world. She never stopped moving, she taught, she knit, she cooked, she sang – the list never ends. She brought people together and loved with everything she had. Her big yellow house held dogs, cats, birds, a few two-legged friends and the bric-a-brac accumulated in a long life. With the help of Azam and Leonora, her last years were filled with life and love. She will be missed by many.

Due to current health restrictions, funeral services will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Bobbie’s memory may be made to Angell Animal Medical Center, 350 S. Huntington Ave., Boston, MA 02130.
