Rose (Freedman)Elman, at age 100,of Jamaica Plain, on April 29, 2013. Beloved wife of the late Abraham.Devoted mother of Richard Elman and his wife Barbara, Marjorie Elman, and the late Stanley “Skippy” Elman and his surviving wife Elly. Cherished grandmother of Adam Elman, Sherri PietroPaolo and her husband Dr.Ryan,Matthew Elman and his wife Dr. Lauren Elman,Joshua Elman,Lisa Grant and her husband Scott,Jeffrey Elman and his wife Nyla. Dear great grandmother of Kristen, Lauren, Lily, Jamie, Ani, Jeffrey, Joshua, Jason, Andrew, Brooke and Lindsay. Loving brother of M.David Freedman and his wife Beverly and the late Frances Spiegel and her late husband William, and William Freedman. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank Rose’s caretaker and friend Sheila Thompson, and Betty and Rose. Graveside services at Sharon Memorial Park (opposite 41 Dedham St.) Sharon, on Thursday, May 2, 2013 at 12:45 pm. Following services, family and friends are invited to Jamaicaway  Tower (function room) until 5:30 pm and 7-9pm.
