Autor, Sanford M., of Newton, MA, on November 13, 2018. Beloved husband of Sherry Autor. Devoted father of Robert Autor and his wife Shelly of Newton, MA, David Autor and his wife Marika Tasutani, of Newton, MA, and Deborah Autor and her husband Bill Burton of Bethesda, MD. Loving grandfather of Sophia, Hana, Noah, Isabel, Emily, Josh, and Alex. Dear brother of Edythe Weitzman. Dr. Autor graduated Columbia College, and earned a Ph.D at Harvard. He was a Clinical Psychologist and Director of mental health services in MA. Smart, witty, and generous, he will be missed. Service at the Newton Cemetery Chapel, 791 Walnut St., Newton, MA, on Friday, November 16, 2018 at 2 pm. Following services, memorial observance will be at Sanford and Sherry’s home from 4-7 pm, Saturday 4-6 pm and Sunday 1-3 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, MA Chapter, 480 Pleasant St., Watertown, MA 02472.
