SHIRLEY WINOGRAD KASTEN

Shirley Winograd Kasten of Dedham, formerly of Newton, passed away peacefully on December 21, 2009, her seventy-fifth birthday. She is survived by her husband Jack Kasten; her sister Esther Winograd Belofsky; her children Nancy (David), Steven (Susan) and Michael Kasten; her seven grandchildren Jacob, Nina and Lili Stern; Joshua and David Kasten; and Samuel and Madeline Kasten; and an extended family of relatives and friends who deeply admired and loved her. Her passion for classical music, cooking, and helping others will guide us always. Funeral services will take place at 10 AM on Tuesday, December 22, at Temple Israel of Boston, 477 Longwood Avenue, Boston, attendant parking on The Riverway.
