Steven “Steve” Adler-Golden

Adler-Golden, age 69, died from glioblastoma on Thursday, April 21, 2022 in Newtonville, Massachusetts. Steve was born on April 6, 1953 in Brooklyn, New York to Syliva Bloom Adler and Alexander Adler.  In 1980, he married his childhood friend, Rachel Golden. After completing post doctoral work at M.I.T., Steve worked as a research scientist for Spectral Sciences, Inc. in Burlington, MA for 40 years. Steve’s lifelong passion for creating art culminated in a show this past January and February of prints, paintings and mixed media at Gorse Mill Studio, in Needham. Steve is survived by his wife of 43 years, Rachel, his children Lisa (Gaelin Bryant) and Daniel (Diana Oliphant). Funeral services will take place  on Monday April 25 at 10:30 AM at Temple Ohabei Shalom, 1187 Beacon St., Brookline, MA.   Memorial donations may be made in Steve’s name to the Union of Concerned Scientists, 2 Brattle Square, Cambridge, MA 02138.
