Wolf ” Bill” Shapiro

Shapiro-Wolf “ Bill” of Boston , Formerly of Newton.  Entered into rest July 10^th,2012 , after a lengthy illness.  Beloved husband of the late Phyllis (Cressilov).  Devoted father of Charles and his wife Debra of Newton.  Loving grandfather of David & Rebecca.  Loving companion of Joanne Cooper of Boston, and her family Mark & Amy Cooper, Howard Cooper & Jane Karol, and Lori & Peter Alexander.  Beloved surrogate grandfather of Deepa & Arti Bhatt and Danny, Ali, Hayley, Hope & Sara Cooper, and Jake & Ben Alexander.  Dearly loved by the entire Cooper / Alexander and Girish & Chhaya Bhatt family.Funeral service on Thursday, July 12th at 11 am at Congregation Kehillath Israel, 384 Harvard St. Brookline.  Following interment at the Tifereth Israel Cemetery, Grove St., West Roxbury, a memorial observance will be held in the Community Room at 2 Hawthorne Place, Boston, until 8pm Thursday evening.  Contributions in Bill’s memory may be sent to the Wolf Shapiro Endowed Scholarship Fund at Brandeis University 415 South St. Waltham, MA 02453 or the charity of your choice
