Gail Ellen Furhman, 77, died at her residence, 7 Monroe Ave., on Saturday, October 19th. Her husband of many years, Leon D. Furhman, died many years ago. She is survived by her daughter, Cindy B. Furhman and her son-in-law, Thomas Urso, whom she loved as a son and with whom she had lived for many years, and a son, Frederic Furhman, of Worcester. She was born in Worcester and was a life long resident. She had been a bookkeeper for an insurance company for many years. Private graveside services were held in Bnai Brith Cemetery, on Sunday, October 20 under the directions of Richard Perlman of Brezniak Rodman Chapel of Newton. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice

Marina Belozerova WORCESTER – Marina B. (Elizeeva) Belozerova, 53, of 10 Camelot Drive, died on Wednesday, October 16th in Golden Living Nursing Home. She leaves her Mother, Gita (Revzin) Fedyukhin of Worcester, her father Boris Elizeeva of Lihuania, her step-father Vasiliy Fedyukhin of Worcester, her former husband, Nicholai Belozerova and her two sons: Alex Belozerova and his wife Julia and Sergey Belozerova. She was born in Belarus, and was the daughter of Boris Elizeeva and had lived in Worcester for 15 years and was a cosmetologist for Susan Nail Salon in Sudbury. FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 2:30 PM ON FRIDAY, OCTOBER 18, IN TEMPLE EMANUEL SINAI AT 661 SALISBURY ST. UNDER THE DIRECTION OF RICHARD PERLMAN OF BREZNIAK RODMAN CHAPELS OF NEWTON. Burial will be in B’Nai Brith Cemetery. Memorial observance will be announced at the time of the funeral service. Allyn I. Abramson

Allyn I. Abramson, 82, of Framingham, entered into rest October 15, 2013.  He was the beloved husband of Rhoda (Hurwitz) Abramson for 50 years.

Born in Boston, the son of the late Carl and Sophie (Snyder) Abramson, he was raised in Dorchester.  He attended the Boston Public Schools and was a graduate of Boston English High School.  Mr. Abramson served in the United States Army during the Korean era with the Co. “M”, 501st Air Unit at Ft. Jackson, SC.  He was the owner and operator of the Bread Basket Bakery in Framingham for 20 years. He continued his love of baking well after retirement.  During retirement he learned how to play golf and joined a choir in Florida. He was a member of the Sharon Men’s Club and the Knights of Pythias.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Abramson is survived by his devoted daughters, Andrea Baron and her husband James of Waltham, Carla Smargon and her husband Steven of Mansfield, and 3 dear grandchildren, Michaela, Zachary, and Adam.  He was the loving brother of Beverly Fleishman and the late Charles Abramson.

Services will be held on Friday, October 18, 2013 at 10:30 am at Temple Sinai, 25 Canton St., Sharon. Burial will follow at Sharon Memorial Park. 

Memorial observance will be at his residence following interment until 5:30 pm, Saturday evening after 6:30 pm, and  Sunday after 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Aid for Cancer Research, P.O. Box 376, Newton Centre, MA 02459.

Sam Brickman Brickman-Samuel David Isaac, of Delray Beach, Florida formerly of Newton, MA passed away on October 12, 2013. Decorated WWII Jewish Veteran who served in the Forward Brigade of the U.S. Army and was part of the liberation of the Buchenwald Concentration Camp; Boston Latin School graduate; distinguished career in sales and marketing; former President Sportswear Corporation of America; a Naturopath; and strong believer in the U.S. Constitution and Republic of the United States of America, which he proudly served, protected and defended for his fellow countrymen, his family and for future generations. Beloved husband of the late Blanche (Tucker) Brickman, and Madeline (Medin) Brickman. Devoted father of Robert Brickman and his wife Linda, Laurie Brickman (Genereux) and her partner Russell Rich, and the late Diane Carol Brickman. Proud grandfather of Victor Tavares and his wife Lesley, Joshua Genereux, Diane Genereux, Andrea Becker and Samuel Becker. Loving great-grandfather of Samuel Tavares, Celia Tavares and Brennan Becker. Companion to Charlotte Kaufman. Loving son of the late Jenny and Morris Brickman.
