Maurice “ Moe” Skoler- of Newton , on June 12, 2012.Beloved husband of Naomi ( Nason) Skoler .Devoted father of Michael Skoler and his wife Jennifer and the late Rebecca Skoler.Cherished grandfather of Rebecca and Samantha Skoler.Dear brother of Saul Skoler , Sylvia Portnoy and the late Shirley Shubin.Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews and numerous devoted friends.Services at The Glavin Family Chapel on the campus of Babson College,Wellesley ( Please park at the Trim Parking lot only)on Friday June 15, 2012 at 11:00 am . Murray Lubowitz

WORCESTER – Murray Lubowitz, age 96, formerly of Worcester died in Bay State Medical Center in Springfield.
His wife of 53 years, Selma (Putnam) Lubowitz died in 2003. He leaves a daughter, Carol, wife of Steve Adlestein of Worcester and their two children, Matthew and David Adlestein of Worcester; a son, John Lubowitz and his wife Sondra of Latham, NY and their two children, Jordan and Daniel Lubowitz of Washington, D.C. and a sister, Rozlyn Gloth of Longmeadow and many cousins.
He was born in Worcester on June 30, 1915, a son of Jacob and Lena (Swarin) Lubowitz and had lived here for 92 years before moving to Longmeadow 4 years ago.
He was educated in the Worcester School System and he attended Worcester Jr. College, Clark University and Suffolk Law School.
He served in the Army Airforce during World War II. Following the war he worked in the family business, George’s Flower Shop, retiring 11 years ago.
Murray was an avid sportsman. He enjoyed spending numerous hours at the YMCA on Main St., playing racquet ball until his early nineties. He went down in division in racquet ball as he got older. He also enjoyed walking the track at Worcester State University.
He was a longtime member of Temple Emanuel, was a 3rd Degree Mason, a member of Level Lodge of Masons and was a life member of the YMCA on Main St.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on FRIDAY, JUNE 8TH in BETH ISRAEL SYNAGOGUE on JAMESBURY DRIVE  ,Worcester . Burial will be in B’Nai Brith Cemetery.
Memorial Observance will be held through 5 PM on Friday, June 8th and 2 PM to 9 PM on Sunday, June 10th at the residence of Carol and Steve Adlestein at 35 Chippewa Rd.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Jewish Healthcare Center at 629 Salisbury St., Worcester 01609.

Nellie Diamond

Diamond-Nellie (Greenberg) age 95, of Worcester, passed away on June 1,, 2012. Beloved wife of the late Edward Diamond. Devoted mother of Donald Diamond and his wife Carol, Wayne Diamond and his late wife Carole, Marilyn Feldman and her husband Elliot, and the late Richard Diamond. Dear grandmother of Scott Diamond, Laurie Diamond, Jenya Guillemin and her husband Andre, Lt. Benjamin Feldman and his wife Tricia, and Eve Feldman. Proud great grandmother of Arielle Diamond, and Camille Feldman. Loving sister of Nathan Greenberg and his wife Barbara, Harold Gruen, and Annette Lightner. Nellie was decades younger in mind, spirit, and enthusiasm than her 95 years would dictate. A life-long optimist, Nellie taught us to live by quiet example, never judging and always knowing love from selfishness. She was a guiding light and served as a humble inspiration to all who knew her. Services at Temple Israel, 477 Longwood Ave., Boston, (parking attendants on the Riverway), on Monday, June 4, 2012 at 11:00 am. Following interment at B’Nai Brith Cemetery, Worcester, a memorial observance will be at the home of Elliot and Marilyn Diamond Feldman until 7 pm and will continue Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 pm.
