Dear grandfather of Charles Solomont, Eric Solomont, Craig Solomont, Jonathan Wolf, Eliot Wolf, Rachel Gibbons, Daniel Gibbons, Bradley Rubin, Julianne Fee and Fifteen Great Grandchildren. Services at Temple Beth Am, 871 North Main Street, Randolph on Thursday, December 4 at 1 pm. Aarons and his wife Shelley Fox Aarons of NY. Dear grandfather of Sam and Solisa Aarons and Zachary Aarons and his wife Camilla Gale. Loving brother of the late Muriel Torris. Also survived by his niece, Donna Torres. Funeral services at the Brezniak-Rodman Chapel, 1251 Washington St., West Newton on Monday, November 24th, at 11:00 AM. Memorial observance is omitted. Dr. Aarons received his PhD from the University of Paris and worked at the Air Force Cambridge Research Labs from 1950 to 1981, then joined Boston University as a research professor in the Dept. of Astronomy. He published in excess of 100 papers in scientific journals. In addition to his career as a physicist, he was a highly acclaimed photographer with a retrospective exhibition at the DeCordova Museum in Lincoln, MA in 2003. Late Army Air Corps Veteran of WWII.
