Frances Singer, born March 28, 1914 in Lynn, MA, died on May 13, 2009, in Melbourne,FL. Frances moved to Brevard County, FL in 1978 from the Boston area. A devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother Frances loved her family very much. Frances was a life master duplicate bridge player, a member of the Women’s Democratic Club, and she was active in the Sisterhood of Temple Beth Sholom, in Melbourne. Her husband, Max Singer, and an older brother, Leon Kisner predeceased her. She is survived by her children: Harvey Singer of Ormond Beach, FL, Richard (Carmen) Singer, of Singer Island, FL, and Barbara (Brian) Greenberg of Melbourne, FL. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, a sister, Rose Kimmel, West Palm Beach, FL and a brother, Robert (Annette) Kisner of Lake Worth, FL and West Haven, CT. No local services are planned. There will be a private family burial in Boston. Over the years he was an avid numismatist and philatelist who was affiliated with many such organizations in the Boston area. He was a natural at languages and enjoyed speaking Spanish as well as public speaking for the Toastmasters Club.
