Ralph Gordon-Of Chestnut Hill, on June 2, 2014.Beloved husband of Cecelie (Raphael) Gordon. Ralph was a Boston attorney for more than 60 years. He graduated from Boston University and BU Law School. He was a member of the Mass Bar Association, The Real Estate Bar Association, and was a member of the Board of Directors of Meetinghouse Bank. Services at The Wilson Chapel, 234 Herrick Rd.,Newton Centre (on the campus of Hebrew College ), on Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at 11:00 am. Following interment at Sharon Memorial Park, memorial observance will be at his residence until 4Pm Tuesday. Devoted father of David Glaser (Debra Stone), Steven Glaser (Roxanne), Susan Goodman (Robert). Dear grandfather of Daniel, Sarah, Ruby, Emily, Dixie, Joshua, Annie and Eliana. Services at Temple Emunah, 9 Piper Road, Lexington, on Monday, June 2 at 10:30 am. Following the burial at Westview Cemetery, Lexington, memorial observance will be at his late residence on Monday until 5pm and continuing  7-9 pm, Tuesday 5-7:45 pm. Kahalas, Frances (Dunay), of Canton, entered into rest on May 29, 2014. The beloved wife of the late Judge Abraham H. “Al” Kahalas. Devoted daughter of the  late Mary (Green) and Maurice Dunay and sister of the late Melvin Dunay. Dearly beloved mother of Annette and her husband Norman Ainbinder of Randolph and Howard and his wife Judy Kahalas of Chestnut Hill. Adored grandmother of Amy and her husband Michael Clayman, Meredith Ainbinder, Lauren Kahalas and Nestor Rodriguez. Beloved great-grandmother of Rebecca and Chad Clayman, and Emelia and Adrianna Rodriguez. Funeral will be held on Sunday, June 1, 2014 at 11:00 am at Temple Sinai,25 Canton St. , Sharon. Following interment  at Sharon Memorial Park, memorial observance will be held at the Ballroom at Orchard Cove, 1 Del Pond Drive, Canton,  and will continue at the home of Howard and Judy Kahalas on  Monday  2 – 4  & 7 – 9 pm, and  Tuesday  2 – 7 pm.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Frances’ memory may be made to the Orchard Cove Scholarship Fund or to a charity of your choice.

Burroughs (married to Anita, children Serena and Seth), Cathy Hannah Burroughs, Warren H. Burroughs Jr. (married to Cindy, children Lindsay and Haley), Allison D. Burroughs (married to Michael Leslie, children Jake and Harry), Carol B. Batchelder (married to Brett, children Ellie, Tessie and Topher). Also survived by his much loved sister, Jean Warren, her husband Dave and their children Wendy, Susan, Michael and Jody. Predeceased by his parents Harry and Hannah, and brother Harry.  A true lover of life and people, he is also survived by the many, many friends he made wherever he went. His loving family hopes that he will be remembered the way he lived – full of optimism, endlessly curious, an incredibly loyal friend, generous. A lover of travel, adventure, sweets, sports and the 11:00 news. He was the very most devoted husband, father, grandfather and ambassador for Agassiz Village. He shared each of our triumphs and was more disappointed in our disappointments than we were. He wanted the very best for all of his family and wide circle of friends. He will be missed each and every day, but his wisdom, humor and eternal optimism will be our inspiration. Services at Temple Israel, 477 Longwood Ave., Boston (parking on the Riverway) on Thursday, May 29, 2014 at 10:30 am. Following interment at Temple Israel Cemetery, Wakefield, memorial observance will be at his residence until 5:00 pm and 6:30- 9:00 pm, Friday 2-5pm and Saturday 2-5pm. In lieu of flowers remembrances may be made to Agassiz Village, 238 Bedford St., Suite 8, Lexington, MA 02420.

Great-grandmother of Maisy Alana LeDoux.  Daughter of the late Lillian and Abraham Cohen, founder of A. Cohen Co. jewelers in Boston. Loving sister of the late Irving Kern, Edna Hamburg, and Esther Chandler.  Mina was an honorable, kind and giving soul, who took great pride in her family and was beloved by all who knew her.  Services at Sharon Memorial Park Chapel, 40 Dedham St., Sharon, Friday, May 30, 2014 at 12:00 noon. Memorial observance at the home of Burton and Marcia Weiner after the service until 6:00 pm and Sunday, 3-8 pm.
