of Wayland, unexpectedly on November 17, 2013. Beloved husband and best friend of Nancy (Levison) Falkof. Devoted and adored father to his son, Andy Falkof and his wife Jenni, and his daughter, Beth (Falkof) Millstein and her husband Matt. Loving Papa of Mila Falkof. Brother of Marcia Krupnikoff and son-in-law of Muriel Levison. Services at Temple Shir Tikva, 141 Boston Post Rd. (Rt. 20), Wayland, on Thursday, November 21, 2013 at 1:00 pm. Following interment at Beit Olam – East Cemetery, Wayland, memorial observance will be at his late residence until 9:00 pm with a minyan service at 7:30 pm, Friday 2-4 pm, Saturday 7-9 pm with a minyan service at 7:30 pm and Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 pm with a minyan service at 7:30 pm. Donations in his memory may be made to the Irving K. Zola Center, 20 Hartford St., Newton Highlands, MA 02461 where Eric volunteered, or to a charity of your choice. Eric was an active amateur radio operator for 53 years.

Seymour L. Kunin

FALMOUTH – Seymour L. Kunin, 88, formerly of Falmouth and Worcester and now of 3000 Galloway Ridge, Apt J304, Pittsboro, NC, 27312, died on Thursday, November 14, 2013, at his residence.

He leaves his wife, Retta Leigh (Amelson) Kunin; a son, Steve Kunin and his wife Susan of Pittsboro, NC; a daughter, Cathy, wife of Jeffrey Phillips of Burlington, VT; his jewels, two grandchildren, Aron and Josh Phillips, and numerous step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren, whom he adored as his own.

He was born in Worcester and was the son of Samuel H. and Tina (Rosen) Kunin. In 1991, Seymour retired  from the company he owned, S.H. Kunin Felt Co., in Worcester, founded by his father in 1925.

He moved to Florida in 1978 and also maintained a residence in Falmouth for many years.

He graduated from the United States Naval Academy in Anapolis.

Hilde (Weilheimer) Gardner

(September 15, 1911-November 14, 2013), remarkable wife (Ralph), mother (Howard, Marion), grandmother (Andrew, Benjamin, Daniel, Jay, Kerith), great grandmother (Aggie, Oscar), beloved by scores of relatives and friends all over the world. In face of life-altering disruptions by the rise of Nazi Germany and the tragic death of her beloved first son Eric, she fashioned a new life for herself and her family in the United States, volunteered and accepted leadership roles in many organizations, learned bridge at age 70 and taught bridge to others until the last month of her life, was a realist who chose to see the positive options and inspired countless others to do the same. Burial private. Friends and family may visit at the home of Marion and Len Saxe (45 Morse Road, Newton) from 5-8:30 PM on November 17 and 5:30-8:30 pm on Nov 18-19. Donations can be made in Hilde Gardner’s name to the Boston Symphony Orchestra and the Harvard Graduate School of Education.

of Chestnut Hill, on Nov. 9, 2013. Dear son of the late Paul and Sophie (Sandberg) Goodman. Loving brother of Allen Goodman and his wife Rona. Loving uncle of Mark and Robin Goodman. In 1961 Leon founded The Boston Hebrew Association of the Deaf. This organization became part of the Bureau of Jewish Education of Greater Boston in 1997. Graveside services will be held at The Keneseth Israel Cemetery, (D Street), opposite 19 Washington St., Woburn, on Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2013 at 12:00 noon. Following services memorial observance will be at the home of Allen and Rona Goodman until 9:00 pm Wednesday, and Thursday 4-8 pm. Loving sister of Lou Krinsky, Julian Krane, Charlotte Freedman and the late Dorothy Ossen. Myra was a long-time employee of Sharon Credit Union and CVS. She always found happiness surrounded by family at her homes in Florida and Dennisport.  Services at Temple Israel of Sharon (125 Pond St., Sharon, MA), on Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at 10:00 am.
