Kessin-Morris , formerly of Newton on July 10, 2009. Beloved husband of Janet (Barth) Kessin Devoted father of Robert A. Kessin of Seattle, Washington and Elizabeth Kessin Berman and her husband Daniel M. Berman of Nahant. Dear Grandfather of Reena Berman. Loving brother of Anne Kemelman of Salem and Nat Kessin of NY. Graveside services at the Temple Emeth Cemetery, 776 Baker St. West Roxbury on Sunday, July 12 at 2:00 pm. Memorial observance will be at the Kessin residence, 99 Norumbega Road, Weston on Sunday and continuing at the Berman residence in Nahant on Monday. Remembrances may be made to either the Jewish War Veterans or to the Brigham & Women’s Hospital, Boston. Mr. Kessin was the owner of Hub Glassware Co. He served in the Army as a medic in wwll and was a recipient of a Bronze Star. He was a lifelong member of the West End House Camp.

Edward M. Kennen, of Bellingham, died at the Providence Veterans Hospital, Providence ,on July 9, 2009. He was 60. Dear son of the late Abraham and Sarah (Tuchfield) Kennen. Devoted father of Joseph Kennen. Loving brother of Steven Kennen and his wife Audrey and Laurie Rosenkranz and her husband Lawrence. Survived by Nieces and Nephews. Graveside services at the Beth Israel Memorial Park, South Street, Waltham on Sunday, July 12 at 11:00 am. Memorial observance will be at the Harnish House, at Merriam Village,Weston on Sunday and on Monday at the home of Steven and Audrey Kennen in Oxford, MA from 4-8:30 pm. Remembrances may be made to the I.C.U. at the Providence VA Medical Center, 830 Chalkstone Avenue, Providence, RI 02908. Edward was a longtime member of the 21st Mississippi Infantry Civil War Reinactment.

TOBMAN, Elka H. (Goldberg) Of Randolph, 72. Beloved wife, mother, aunt, cousin and friend passed away on June 16th of Cancer. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Frederick M. Tobman of Randolph, son Alan Tobman of Philadelphia and daughter Jodi Tobman and her husband Irwin Hagedoorn of Aruba. Elka was the daughter of the late Rose and Sam Goldberg of Holbrook and the sister of the late Leon Goldberg of Framingham. A graduate of Fisher Junior College Elka spent more than 20 years working at Sealy Mattress in Randolph. She leaves behind treasured nieces, nephews and other family members who loved her dearly along with many cherished friends. Funeral services at Temple Beth Am, 871 North Main St, Randolph on Thursday June 18 at 11 am. Memorial observance will be held at her late residence on Thursday until 9pm, Friday from 1-5pm, Saturday evening, Sunday 1-9pm.
