Dr. Kenneth H. Falchuk, of Newton, peacefully passed away on May 3, 2018, surrounded – as he always was – by people he loved and who loved him. For fifty years, the beloved husband of Nancy (Kozinn). Devoted to his son Evan and his wife Felicia, his son Brad and his fiancé Gwyneth, and his daughter Aimee. Grandfather of Brenna, Colin, Lydia, Izzy and Brody. Loving brother of Dr. Myron Falchuk and Myra Friedlander.  Doctor, teacher, scientist, businessman and one heck of a dancer. Kenneth was born in Brooklyn, NY and grew up in Maracay,Venuezuela. He  attended Stuyvesant HS, Dartmouth college and Harvard Medical School.  He was Chief Resident at Peter Bent Brigham Hospital (now Brigham and Women’s Hospital) and spent his entire forty year career there healing people from all over the world, eventually opening the Office for International Medicine.  Kenneth was a tireless and brilliant researcher and was named a full Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School.  There he taught third-year medical students how to do what he did best – diagnose disease and heal the afflicted.  Because all of that was apparently not enough, Kenneth also founded Best Doctors, Inc., which became the world’s leader in helping people make sure they get the right medical care, serving tens of millions of people all around the world.  After retirement, Kenneth started oil painting and found he had a talent for it.  His family will be surrounded by his artwork for generations to come.
