Age 86, formerly of Boynton Beach, FL and Natick, MA, on November 4, 2015. Beloved husband of the late Winifred (Harris) Wolfson.  Loving father of Nancy Nelson and her husband James, and Debra Berit and her husband William.  Cherished grandfather of Craig, Lisa, Stephanie, Lauren, Kimberly and Eric, and great-grandfather of Samantha, Matthew, Steven and Taylor.  Dear brother of Harold Wolfson and the late Paula Oppenheim.  Services in the Chapel at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham St, Sharon, MA, on Sunday, November 8, 2015 at 12 noon.  Memorial observance at the home of Nancy and Jim Nelson following the burial until 9 pm, and  continuing Monday 2-4 pm & 7-9 pm.  In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Autism Speaks, 1060 State Rd, 2nd Floor, Princeton, NJ 08540 or via www.AutismSpeaks.org.

Dr. Edward P. Rindler

of Washington, D.C., on November 3, 2015. Beloved son of the late Sidney L. and Edythe J. (Oken) Rindler. Loving brother of Marj Austin, Alan Rindler, and the late Richard Rindler. Dear uncle of Lisa Rindler, Emily Rindler, Sara Adland, Erica Siegel, Ethan Austin, and Alex Rindler. Dr. Rindler was a graduate of Bowdoin College and earned his PhD from the University of Pennsylvania. He was employed as the Chief of the Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing Group for the United States Department of State. He was also the founder of Finestkind Lobster of Washington, D.C. and an avid sailor and baseball fan. Herbert Francis Regal

of Belmont, formerly of Newton, passed away peacefully with his children at his side, Friday, October 30th, after a long illness. Herb was born in Boston on November 6, 1925. He graduated from Milton High School and Harvard College, and served in the Navy in WWII. Herb ran the family hardware business, and was an avid sports fan. Through the years he served on the Newton School Committee, the Harvard 1947 class committee, and was active in other local, civic and Democratic politics, including serving on Michael Dukakis’ gubernatorial and presidential campaigns. Herb will be forever remembered by his children Sally of Washington, DC; Ellen of Portland, OR; and David of Burbank, CA; his step-children Moss Hansen of Brewster, MA; and Andrew Hansen of Ft Lauderdale by the Sea, FL; and his three grandchildren. Family and friends are invited to a gathering in Herb’s honor on Friday, November 6 from 2 to 4 p.m. at O’Hara’s, 1185 Walnut Street, Newton Highlands, MA. Dr. Susan Wainger

Dr. Susan Wainger

 

Dr. Susan Wainger, 76, of Newton, Oct. 21. She is survived by her wife, Judy Fischbach, loving family Heidi, Stephen, Max, and Leo Frail, Steven, Jodie, Jackson, and Jade Fischbach, brother Stephen Wainger and wife Phyllis, and nephews Brian and Brett Wainger, as well as her beloved poodle, Fanny. She was preceded in death by her loving 4-legged companions Pooh, Sammy and Lilly.
Dr. Wainger was a graduate of Cornell University. She earned her medical degree from McGill University Medical School and completed her residency in internal medicine at University of California San Francisco. Susan spent her life caring for others as a physician at Savitz & Wainger Primary Care in Boston for more than 30 years. Susan loved to travel, and she and Judy had many great adventures together. They built a beautiful life together and their home was always warm and full of love.

Burial will be Saturday, Oct. 31 at 11 am at Newton Cemetery,  791 Walnut Street, Newton Center. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to  Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals – Angell Animal Medical Center, 350 South Huntington Ave., Boston, MA 02130.
